I just completed our paving repair on a short walk by our tennis court. The walk is part of a neighborhood court. It was in very poor condition, with scattered pavers, and cement edging was all broken apart. Many pavers were being lifted up by tree roots.
I took ownership of the rote for the neighborhood, and got two estimates. The other estimate was much more expensive. The representative came out immediately, and reviewed the project. He took measurements and gave me an estimate that was satisfactory.
Our neighborhood approved the estimate and we gave our approval. They immediately set up timely appointment. They arrived on time and spent a full day and a ha;f day on the job. The did everything perfectly, including removing the tree roots, removing all of the pavers and smoothing out the bed, taming down the bed, adding new sand, and replacing the pavers, as well as installing a new concrete edge.
I sent photos of everything to our 15 neighbors and everyone was impressed. They cleaned up and left the site in perfect shape.
They did try to charge us for taking away 10 bags of trash (roots, old cement, etc.) but it was not part of the quotation which should have been done initially.
